Objective

We do this through proximal learning where industry is brought closer to the learner, coupled with tuition based on sound academic standards and industrial practice with hands-on experience using State-of-The-Art equipment, and facilitated by well-qualified faculty with focus on mastery and measured outcomes.

Administration

The Management Board

The management board is an ad-hoc board whose professional membership is drawn from the pool of the Heads of Departments (HODs). This board is a key decision-making entity within the schools that holds meetings—sometimes bi-weekly—on matters affecting the day-to-day affairs of the schools.

Intermittently, the board deliberates on progressive and consultative decisions based on detailed reports furnished by the HODs. These are reviewed critically for feasibility and implementation, resulting in practical resolutions for school development.

One uncontestable fact about the GH Schools Management Board is their commitment to accountability—they conduct calculated reviews of every facilitator’s performance, creating a culture of excellence and responsibility.

School Governance Structure

  • Chancellor – Supreme institutional figurehead
  • Rector – Chair of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer
  • Vice Rector – Academic and Research Oversight
  • Heads of Departments (HODs) – Operational management
  • Deans of Schools – Academic leadership and student support
  • Registrar – Student records and administration
  • Finance Officer – Budgeting and expenditure management

Roles of the Board

  • Review academic and administrative policies
  • Ensure staff accountability and performance
  • Evaluate student performance and support systems

Through collaboration, transparency, and firm leadership, the Administration ensures GH SCHOOLS provides world-class vocational and technical education rooted in discipline, innovation, and practical excellence.
